WVDP Statement On GOP Del. Nancy Reagan Foster’s Resignation

(Charleston, WV)– Today the West Virginia Democratic Party released the following statement regarding Republican Delegate Nancy Reagan Foster’s resignation of her seat in the House of Delegates for the 38th District:

“Sadly, the people of the 38th District haven’t had a full-time representative since Nancy Reagan Foster took office. She left her seat vacant for the special session when the people of her district needed her the most. While the rest of the state had a voice in the discussion on taxation and spending, she left her constituents voiceless. When the people of the 38th District vote in 2018 rest assured they will have a strong, democratic candidate that will make sure they are always represented and always heard. I just hope they remember that the Republican Party served them up a Delegate who didn’t show up and not give the GOP their votes again.”
