WV Republican Party Chair Attacks McCain, Veterans

Melody Potter tells war hero, John McCain, to keep his mouth shut
CHARLESTON, WV — For the second time this year, the chair of the West Virginia Republican Party attacks military Veterans.

First, Melody Potter and the Republicans attacked state Senator Richard Ojeda for earning a military pension. See here

Now, Potter is attacking Vietnam War Veteran and POW Senator John McCain (R-AZ). She took to Twitter to tell McCain, “Keep your mouth shut.”
“Democrats honor and respect our Veterans, and will protect the right of all military members who have answered the call to serve to be able to speak their mind,” said Belinda Biafore, chair of the West Virginia Democratic Party. “It’s sad that Ms. Potter and Republicans have resorted to openly attacking our brave Veterans. It’s OK to disagree on issues, but it’s never right to tell a Veteran who has sacrificed for this nation to ‘keep your mouth shut.'”
