GOP’S ONLY GOVERNOR CANDIDATE MISSES MARK WITH ENDORSEMENTS

Senator Bill Cole doesn’t receive all Republican Delegate endorsements

Touting his endorsements via social media yesterday, Senator Cole states that 49 Republican Delegates have endorsed him for governor but what about the other 15?

Senator Bill Cole is unopposed in the GOP primary for governor and somehow he is missing 15 endorsements from the Republican Caucus in the House of Delegates.

The Republican Caucus in the House of Delegates is made up of 64 members.

The only GOP candidate running for governor should have the overwhelming support of all of his caucus members instead, he is missing the mark.

This could be due to the fact that other GOP hopefuls for governor such as, Attorney General Patrick Morrisey and Rep. David McKinley were pushed out of the race so that Cole could be the GOP’s sole candidate.

Senator Bill Cole wants to convince West Virginia that he deserves their support, but being the sole Republican candidate can’t even get him 100% of the support from his own party.
