GOP House Candidate Riley Moore’s past unveils graphic and disturbing actions

(Charleston, WV) – House Candidate Riley Moore’s past is full of degrading women and promoting sexual assault, violence, and drug use as part of an alter ego.

Riley Moore, formerly known as “Rick Rattler”, and his band just a few years ago boasted specifically about alcohol and drugs use, date rape, violence against police officers and killing women in their music.

“The Republican Party’s pattern of demeaning women and condoning assault and unwarranted advance towards women is getting too close to home,” said Belinda Biafore, West Virginia Democratic Party Chair. “Riley Moore is a candidate for House of Delegates and here he is during his adult years thinking it is acceptable to promote drug use, violence and assault against women. When is this going to be deemed unacceptable to the Republican Party? It’s getting out of hand and the women of West Virginia deserve respect. All West Virginians deserve respect and Riley Moore is unfit to run for House of Delegates.”

Moore’s aunt Senator Shelley Moore Capito has spoken out against and pulled her support of Donald Trump after his disturbing comments about his actions towards women. Since she stated that Donald Trump needs to “re-examine his candidacy” she should hold the same standards for her nephew.

“We cannot stand by and allow someone to run for office to represent West Virginia who has openly glorified these things. I mean come on, we need to stop allowing it to be deemed acceptable to boast about these kind of actions towards women and others. It’s getting out of hand and we will not stand by and allow West Virginia women to be threatened, treated or talked about in this disrespectful manner. This should not be taken lightly or ignored. This needs to be put to a stop and the people of West Virginia deserve to know who they are voting for.”
